UX UI BRANDING APPLICATION DESIGN UX RESEARCH CASE STUDY
BACKGROUND.
Grocery Help was created as my 3rd project in the Google UX Cert. course. We were asked to design an app for a local grocery store that helps local shoppers locate products as they shop in person. The main purpose is to help the local shoppers to save time in their grocery shopping.

Once I started my research, I found there are seldom apps available on the local market which serve the same purpose.Features, interface or functions are also very different on the existing ones. Then I designed the Grocery Help App and thinks it can help to improve the current situation and meet the needs of local community shoppers.
THE PROBLEM.
Nowadays people are getting more busy and time is very important to everyone. Time can spend on grocery stores becomes relatively less. People find it takes time to locate their items when they walk in grocery store. Meanwhile it is not easy to ask for help in store. By using this app & website, we wish it can help to make shoppers lives easier and meet their daily needs.
THE GOAL.
Grocery Help App helps local grocery shoppers lives easier by offering an in store map to locate their items. Also it offers other useful features and functions like coupons, on sale items notifications, etc. Its easy & intuitive interface creates enjoyable buying & selling experience for busy shoppers. The goal is to help the local community saving time & money and fulfilling their daily needs.
USER RESEARCH.
In order to understand the situations and problem, I conducted a survey by Google Forms with 5 people who live in my local community. Below are their common pain points to the existing situation.
"I don't know how to find items I want in store! It takes me so long to find what I want!"
"Item Allocations are somewhat confusing, I spend extra time in searching for what I actually need."
"I cannot find any staff for help when I need, I feel frustrated to find it by myself when I am busy."

Nowadays people are getting busier than ever. Time is precious to everyone. Time saving becomes an important factor in people's daily living. Grocery shopping is an necessary behaviour for people whenever they are shopping daily or weekly. Creating an pp which can help them to save time is my main task. Different users have different shopping practice but their final goal is to speedup their grocery shopping time. Hopefully this app can help them to achieve this purpose with an enjoyable user experience
